Christopher Hills, CPP, CRMP started his career in the security field in 1990 when he attended the US Army’s Military Police School at Fort McClellan Alabama. Hills originally enlisted in 1984 and spent the years prior to joining the Military Police with the 7th Infantry Division. After leaving active duty he spent another 12 years with the Washington National Guard where he held multiple positions including Emergency Operations response team leader, MP Platoon Sergeant and State Military Police Operations Sergeant.
Hills is currently a Security Consultant with Securitas Security Services. His exclusive client is Microsoft Global Security where he works full time. Prior to Securitas, Hills was President of IP Security Video Group (IPSVG) an IP security video and security device consulting company. While leading IPSVG Hills developed hardware, software and IP service solutions for multiple clients. These products have been manufactured both domestically and overseas. During this same period, Hills acted as a corporate officer for two companies striving to develop an IP offering. Hills acted in the capacity of President of Sure Labs US division and interim CEO of Mosaic Global after an unfortunate accident paralyzed the current CEO for nearly a year.
Prior to IPSVG Hills was a founder and CEO of D3data LLC, a leading IP security video software company founded in 1999. In 2003 D3data was, according to Frost & Sullivan and JP Freeman, one of the top-ten security video and analytics software companies globally. While Hills was managing D3data he also owned HostedVideo.com and published IP Camera Reports, a consumer web site and publication devoted to IP Cameras.
Prior to D3Data Hills was the Business Development Manager for Titan Information Security and Disaster Recovery where he was responsible for C level engagements, mirror site design and implementation, designing out source data warehousing for physical and digital data.
Hills has been married for 23 years and has four children, a Scout Master with Boy Scouts of America, Soccer Coach and Co-Chairs the ASIS Puget Sound Board of Directors. Hills can be contacted at: chris@securityinterviews.com

Microsoft Global Security
Christopher Hills, CPP, CRMP Provides advice and guidance to Microsoft on a wide range of facility, personnel and resource protection issues. In collaboration with my client, I conduct analysis of personnel, facility and information protection plans.
Review and design facility security, personnel security and information security to identify vulnerabilities and make recommendations to reduce vulnerability to threats. Provide advice and guidance on lights, locks, video surveillance devices, etc. Examine policies, procedures, training and physical security equipment (electronic and environmental barriers).
Develop and/or use existing security matrix and other methodologies to identify and assess potential security weaknesses. Identify and assess level of threat in conjunction with vulnerabilities. Employ crime statistics as well as statistical analysis of events targeted against my client to develop viable threat or risk in the information.

IP Security Video Group
IP Security Video Group (IPSVG) was a small group of consultants in the IP Security Video space. Most of the time I lead this company I was dedicated, by contract, to two companies, eventually acted as CEO for one of them.
Mosaic Global Solutions is a global market leader in IP security products and solutions. Mosaic solutions are used in global and diverse markets, including government, law enforcement, military, education, and transportation; global corporations and healthcare institutions; retail and gaming establishments; telecommunication and utility providers. I acted as CEO for a year after leading a large project for them in Rome Italy.
Surelabs delivers proven CCTV solutions for security management, enabling businesses and individuals to effectively secure and protect their personal belongings and business assets and much more whether at home or at your place of business. I acted as their US President while contracted to develop new business in the USA.

D3data Security Video Software
D3Data built and supplied one of the leading security video management software platforms. NETVM was a complete video surveillance system built as a browser based answer to the market's demand for new enterprise level platforms that live on our client's existing network.
The NETVM system was the same type of technology, with the same look and feel, as current software running and controlling networks in millions of companies worldwide. NETVM was capable of controlling thousands of individual cameras, servers, and IP DVRs from one GUI interface.
NETVM supported the JPEG, MJPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4 and H.264 codecs as well as compressing to Windows Media 9 and Flash for ease of storage and retrieval. The system was developed entirely as an open platform in a Windows OS environment.

Military Police
The Military Police Corps is the uniformed law enforcement branch of the United States Army. Investigations are conducted by Military Police Investigators or the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC), both of which report to the Provost Marshal General. Combat zone responsibilities include protection of vehicle routes, defile control, route reconnaissance and straggler control, the guidance or detention of soldiers who have become lost, separated from their units, or have fled the battlefield. Since the beginning of the war on terror, military police have become a valuable asset to combat operations due to the versatility.
